Who I am

Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm a mom to a busy toddler, military spouse on the move, and pelvic floor expert. Originally from Louisiana, but currently residing in Northern Virginia. In my past life, before my baby, I was a professional ballet dancer and avid fitness instructor. After experiencing a traumatic birth that led to a painful Vaginal Fistula and Prolapse, which required surgery and months of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Core Vitality Fitness, LLC was born. This small business was built from pain, perseverance and passion. Eager to continue my education and heal others, I earned my Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist certificate.


The past few years have been hard for many, but I'd like to share my healing journey with you.

2021 required a lot of patience and internal healing. I had 2 major surgeries on my core & pelvic floor within 5 months. Implementing the rehab found in Postpartum Reconnect Online Course I successfully healed. There is a HUGE gap in women's health, but with this company I intend to mend the bridge and create a smaller gap for as many women as I can.


My passion for teaching and motivating clients has found a natural place as I've transitioned into motherhood. I am excited to go on this journey with you during pregnancy, newly postpartum, & beyond.

Credentials: BA from Point Park University, Certified Pregnancy & Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist with over 10 years experience teaching group exercise fitness and dance all over the world.

GFI certificates include the following: Pilates, Pure Barre, TABATA HIIT, ZUMBA,

Silver n Fit and Bodiography Fitness & Strength.

“Before finding Sarah, I was struggling with such bad sciatic nerve pain I couldn't even get out of bed without crying to walk the five feet to the bathroom.


My OBGYN wouldn't listen to me, and the physical therapist I was referred to didn't help. They just kept telling me it was a "normal" part of pregnancy.


 My poor two year old at the time, was trying his best to help me with anything he could. All I could manage (when I was able to move) was grab and go snacks that he could easily bring to me to open for him, since I couldn't move.


Now after Sarah's work, I'm able to relieve my pain and keep up with my son! We are able to go to soccer, take walks, and the playground. She even helped me so my OBGYN would allow me to attempt a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Her techniques have helped me get my hips into the best placement, to reduce pain and get the space I needed to give me the best chance of a successful vaginal birth.
